Dental implants in Doncaster
We understand that dentures are not for everyone. Dental Implants are a fantastic permanent replacement for anyone with dentures and can offer a natural long term look.
What are Implants?
A dental implant is an entire tooth and root structure replacement option made from titanium. The tooth is typically implanted into the gum with a “post”, giving a secure tight fit which can last a very long time, and are worry-free.
“I was absolutely thrilled with my dental implants, having spent the majority of the last decade with dentures. They look really natural and I don’t feel the difference…Marie Harding, 62, Former Teacher

- 1. Implant Site Preparation
A small hole is made in the jawbone where the implant will sit. - 2. Implant Placement
The Titanium implant is screwed into the jawbone. - 3. Abutment Placement
An abutment is screwed into the implant which is now in your jawbone offering a crown substructure. The implant abutment (or coping as in diagram) holds the new crown. Abutments are installed according to the size of the tooth and can be found in many different sizes and angles. - 4. Crown Installation
A porcelain crown is created to match your original tooth and permanently attached to the implant.
